Abstract
Known simply as the cat doctor, Louis J. Camuti, DVM (Cornell Class of 1920) of New York City was the first veterinarian to devote his practice solely to feline medicine. His story is told by his daughter, Nina Danielson and lauded by Dr. Jane Brunt, director of the CATalyst Council that encourages cat-friendly health care.
