Cultivars being grown include 'Bing', 'Chinook', 'Compact Lambert', 'Corum', 'Emperor Francis', 'Gold', 'Hedelfingen', 'Hudson', 'Lambert', 'Napoleon', 'Rainier', 'Sam', 'Schmidt', 'Stella', 'Ulster', 'Van', 'Vista', and 'Windsor'. 'Emperor Francis' is the leading sweet cherry variety in New York comprising 20 percent of the total trees, with 'Hedelfingen' (16%) and 'Schmidt '(15%) also of importance.
