Abstract
A survey of blueberry plantings was conducted in 2007, 2008, and 2009 for canker fungi and other pest management issues. Phomopsis canker was found most frequently. Botryosphaeria stem blight and was necrotic ringspot (caused by tobacco ringspot virus) were found for the first time on blueberry in NY. Our results have prompted us to consider research on fungicide treatments for Phomopsis canker and to undertake a survey for viral diseases in blueberry.
