Digital Content Delivery Platforms (DCDP)
As a part of the Integrated Framework and Digital Consulting and Production Services (DCAPS) initiatives, the Digital Content Delivery Platforms Forum facilitates the discussion of content software and system issues. The goals of the Forum include: * Facilitate information sharing among the Library staff involved in DCDP technical development, management, and decision-making * Expand our understanding of the commonly used CUL platforms, such as DLXS, DPubS, DSpace, ENCompass, Luna, and GreenStone * Develop a technical knowledge base to facilitate selection and assessment of DCDPs * Advocate assessment of existing platforms and forecast new developments * Promote the creation of integrated digital collections * Develop best practices, guidelines, requirements The Forums are held regularly with a focus on a specific platform or delivery technology/standard to share experience and information. The goal is to enhance our decision-making process when matching delivery platform features with institutional goals and the requirements of individual digital collections.
