Abstract

The news item is about: Students at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine can get an idea of what it’s like to care for wild animals, thanks to a partnership between the college and the Belize Zoo and Tropical Education Center in Central America. By working with clinicians in the zoo’s animal hospital, the students also contribute to efforts to save some species from extinction.
