Abstract

Nearly 70% of senior executives are only "somewhat satisfied" or "not at all satisfied" with the performance of their companies’ frontline managers due to insufficient training.1 Traditional classroom-based training can disrupt daily operations, making it impractical for frontline managers who are crucial to logistics execution and workforce development. As a result, it is essential companies adopt new strategies that embed learning into the daily flow of work. This report explores innovative training strategies—such as integrating learning into daily workflows, leveraging personalized learning technologies, and fostering continuous development through feedback and microlearning—designed to address this challenge and improve manager effectiveness without taking them off the floor.
