2017 CVM News: Home News Awards partner life science researchers with industries
This news item from the Cornell Chronicle is about: In an effort to support biotechnology research that shows market potential, the Center for Advanced Technology (CAT) has awarded annual grants to three researchers in the College of Veterinary Medicine, partnering them with New York state industries for biotechnology research and product development. Rodrigo Bicalho will be working with Bactana Animal Health in Ithaca, New York on improving animal health and productivity by mitigating antibiotic resistance. Daryl Nydam and Anja Sipka will jointly work with Acumen Detection in Syracuse, New York on a project developing a diagnostic test for early mastitis in dairy cows. All three are from the Department of Population Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences.
