In April 2026, average producer receipts in the Northeast FMMO #1 averaged 4.40% butterfat, down from the month previous. The average across all U.S. orders also decreased, falling to 4.31%. Percent butterfat in the Northeast was up 1.4% year over year, while the US average was up 0.5%. Percent protein in milk also decreased slightly in April, averaging 3.31% in the Northeast and 3.37% across all US orders. Percent protein was up 1.2% year over year in the NE and up 0.9% on average across the US. Component levels continue to follow the seasonal trend.
