Abstract

2019 marked the second year of collaboration between the Network for Environment and Weather Applications (NEWA), which is part of the New York State IPM Program at Cornell University, and the New York State Mesonet (NYSM), part of the University at Albany. A 2018 pilot project that linked 10 data streams from key NYSM locations (Table 1) continued for the entirety of 2019. The following sections summarize NEWA digital outreach and impact among online users located within NY for the 2019 calendar year, based on user IP address. In 2019, 250 unique users in NY accessed the NEWA platform for these 10 NYSM locations, completing 8,787 pageviews to achieve 66 online contact hours
