This document is broken down into three major sections: Biogas Production, Biogas Treatment, and Biogas Utilization. Biogas Production: Provides information with respect to dairy manure-based anaerobic digestion systems, including factors affecting biogas production and composition, biogas testing and biogas safety. Biogas Treatment: Covers the options available to remove contaminants (compounds other than CH4) from raw biogas streams. Biogas Utilization: Describes the most common usages of biogas both on- and off-farm (in the case of pipeline quality biogas).
