Maize Genetics Cooperation Newsletter

Permanent URI for this collection

The Maize Genetics Cooperation News Letter (MNL) was founded by Rollins Adams Emerson at Cornell University and has been published annually since 1929. It is a compendium of notes and information on working research intended to be shared throughout the maize research community. The News Letters were published by the Department of Plant Breeding at Cornell University until 1955. A partial name contraction to Newsletter was made with volume 64 in 1990. The publication became fully and only electronic with volume 88 in 2015.

A more complete range of newsletters as well as detailed historical information are available from the Maize Newsletter Archives page on the Maize Genetics and Genomics Database (MaizeGDB) website. MaizeGDB is a community-oriented, long-term, federally funded informatics service to researchers focused on the crop plant and model organism Zea mays.
