The Horticulture sub-community contains resources including factsheets, books, PowerPoint presentations, podcasts and Adobe Connect recordings that were produced by experts in either the Department of Horticulture or county-based Cornell Cooperative Extension Horticulture Educators. The sub-community contains content appropriate for connection and outreach to professionals, students and citizens of New York State, the nation, and the world. The content of these collections focuses on knowledge about fruits, vegetables and landscape plants for the purpose of sustaining the environment, enhancing economic vitality, and improving quality of life of individuals and their communities. The majority of resources related to weather, composting, soil health and disease and pest management originate from other Departments/Units such as NYIPM, Crop and Soil Sciences, Entomology, Plant Pathology and Cornell Waste Management Institute. Look to sub-communities and collections created by these entities for related information.
