Other Titles
Abstract
Grape varieties described in this publication include examples from the species Vitis vinifera, Vitis labrusca, and hybrids of native American varieties with V. vinifera. Most of the varieties described here are suited to commercial and home use in cool climate growing regions. Some of these varieties may be grown in the Northeast, Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic regions. This publication is based on New York Food and Life Sciences Bulletin 80 (July 1979), "Grape Varieties for New York State."
