dc.description.abstractThe video shows the difference in reactions of deer tick (Ixodes scapularis) and Asian long-horned tick (Haemaphysalis longicornis) when they are approached by a human host. I observed (shown in the video) that deer ticks crawl (almost “run”) towards the human host; whereas, Asian long-horned ticks avoid humans and crawl away.en_US
