Although we have decreased the prevalence of clinical hypocalcemia within the industry, some degree of hypocalcemia still affects approximately half or more of cows in the days following parturition. In this presentation, we delve into the results of a study which observed the effects of feeding a synthetic zeolite A for the last 3 weeks of gestation as an approach for minimizing hypocalcemia.en_US
