Abstract
This is a dramatic reading of Lucian's dialogue The Downward Journey in the original ancient Greek, with multiple voices and sound effects, intended to help students of ancient Greek improve their aural fluency. In the dialogue, a group of dead people, including the tyrant Megapenthes, are carried to the Underworld in Charon's boat. Only the cobbler Micyllus accepts his fate with resignation. Runtime: 46:20.
