dc.description.abstract	This summary captures the status and key guidance issues that emerged from NABC 25, hosted by Texas A&M AgriLife Research for researchers, government regulators and industry representatives.The discussion covered: the dearth of biotechnology specialty food crops; opportunities for crop improvement and human-food and -health benefits; Case studies of products in development; the regulatory process and technology-access barriers; and strategies for commercialization of specialty food crops in the United States and Canada.
