Ever-green revolution and sustainable food security

Other Titles

Abstract

Science and technology have always been key elements in the growth and development of societies. Today, the scientific revolution is taking place at a faster pace than our social evolution. As a result, demographic, digital, gender, genetic, technological and economic divides are growing Over 3 billion are struggling to survive and crying for peace and equitable economic development. Several countries are in the midst of serious famines and in India, the severe debt burden of small farmers sometime results in suicides. The spectacular progress of science and technology results in an increasing technological divide between industrialized and developing countries. Society needs to use these advances instead to bridge the divide.
