Parotid Duct Transposition in a Welsh Corgi with Uncontrolled Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca

Other Titles

Abstract

A Welsh Corgi was presented to the Cornell Ophthalmology service for a one year history of uncontrolled bilateral keratoconjunctivitis sicca diagnosed by her primary care veterinarian. She had been previously treated medically with no improvement in clinical signs. The patient underwent parotid duct transposition surgery in both eyes to redirect the parotid duct from the oral cavity to the conjunctiva to lubricate the eye.
