dc.description.abstract | Bacterial diseases of tomatoes can be some of the most serious and destructive diseases affecting both field- and greenhouse grown crops. Under moist field conditions they can cause localized epidemics affecting young developing fruit; in the greenhouse total crop losses can occur. The three bacterial diseases discussed here are bacterial canker, bacterial speck, and bacterial spot. The third disease can also cause serious damage of peppers. | |
