Abstract
Jake is an eleven-year-old male, castrated Labrador retriever who presented to his referring veterinarian with the chief complaint of polyuria/polydipsia (PU/PD). The referring veterinarian's laboratory work revealed hypercalcemia, decreased parathyroid hormone (PTH), and increased parathyroid hormone related peptide (PTH rp). Jake then presented to Cornell University Hospital for Animals for further evaluation of the hypercalcemia.
