[Exerpt] This report contains proﬁles of 125 independent countries and a summary report on 19 non-independent countries and territories designated as GSP beneﬁciaries and/or beneﬁciaries of trade preferences under the AGOA, CBTPA, and ATPA/ATPDEA. In addition, the report includes information on former GSP recipients that have negotiated free trade agreements with the United States, in view of Senate Report 111-66.6 Information in the proﬁles focuses on the period March 2009 through February 2010. Due to the redesign of the 2009 report and revised release date, important developments that occurred from February through October 2010 are also included. Each country proﬁle contains a table with child labor statistics; a highlights paragraph that notes major steps or remaining problems; ﬁve text sections that describe the problem and diﬀerent aspects of government eﬀorts to address it; a table of information on relevant laws and ratiﬁcation of international instruments; and a set of suggested actions.
