Abstract
In this presentation, the speaker will begin by introducing the concept of smart cities. He will share his experience on several projects in Europe, Asia, and South America that use the smart cities implementation to promote smart healthcare. He will also discuss how technologies such as data analytics, smart sensors, wearable devices, connected and automated ambulances, virtual doctors, smart hospital rooms, etc. are being applied to crisis management, clusters identification, contact tracing, transportation of patients, automated testing, diagnosis and monitoring of patients and citizens on quarantine during a pandemic.
