Intervention Efforts Against Technology Abuse in Intimate Partner Violence

Author
Narakornpichit, Julia
Abstract
A multi-stage study was conducted to evaluate and improve the efficacy of intervention approaches for dealing with technology-driven interpersonal attacks. Two current intervention approaches are customer support for computer security applications and notifications from mobile computer security applications. While we are specifically looking at NortonLifeLock (formerly known as Symantec)’s customer support and notification design, the improvements developed from this study can be applicable and used by other computer security companies.
