Permanent URI for this collection

These diagnostic books spanning 1920-1988 consist of records of submissions to the Poultry Diagnostic Laboratory of the New York State Veterinary College. It was first a division of the Department of Pathology and Bacteriology, then the Department of Avian Diseases, and finally the Department of Avian and Aquatic Animal Medicine at Cornell University. These records include name and address of the owner, brief history of the flock or farm, and diagnosis of the problem. The books contain information on the problems observed in poultry during this period of time.

Also included are several books with diagnoses of cases involving various species submitted from the Small Animal Clinic, Large Animal Clinic, and practicing veterinarians in the State to Cornell’s Diagnostic Laboratory, a service of the Department of Pathology and Bacteriology, from 1926 to 1932.
