Canine and feline heartworm disease : the dangers and the differences

Canine and feline heartworm diseases vary in a number of aspects, including biological processes and pathophysiology. This case report follows the diagnosis and treatment of one canine patient, while attempting to look at some of the similarities and differences of both diseases.
