Abstract
Symposium held in honor of Nelson J. Shaulis (Emeritus Professor of Viticulture) on the 5th and 6th of March, 1991 at the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva, NY. The main goal of the symposium was to provide the grape industry with current information concerning IPM of grape diseases. Multiple speakers delivered presentations on topics like forecasting grape diseases, impact of changes in the industry, cultural practices, canopy management for disease reduction, tomato ringspot virus infection of grapevines, crown gall, fungicides, black rot, powdery mildrew, dormancy sprays and bunch rot.
