Abstract

Six in ten New Yorkers, and three in four New York City residents, want the state's minimum wage raised to at least $30 an hour, the statewide living wage for a single adult. The finding comes as the NYS minimum is frozen for 2027 and the federal minimum enters its 18th year at $7.25.
