Abstract
The Southeast Asia Program Bulletin is a bi-annual publication covering Cornell faculty and student research, SEAP outreach activities, as well as SEAP news and updates.
Description
Some of the fascinating essays in this issue include discussions of SEAP's relationship with the founding of the Center for Khmer Studies by SEAP faculty emeritus Thak Chaloemtiarana; the challenges of intercommunal problems in Rakhine State by SEAP visiting scholar Kyaw Yin Hlaing; a thoughtful commentary by postdoctoral associate Wendy M. Erb and SEAP visiting fellow Walker DePuy on studying the soundscapes of Nusantara; and touching memorials for Randy Barker and John Badgley.
