Abstract

Jason Londo, Geneva-based USDA-ARS scientist, examined 43 Vitis riparia accessions to examine cold-hardiness traits that decrease the likelihood of winter injury, including low mid-winter bud freezing temperatures, high chilling requirements, and reduced deacclimation rates.
