The patient is a 3-year-old intact female rabbit who was surrendered to Tompkins County SPCA in September, 2018 due to her owners being unable to care for her. She was healthy on physical examination with a BCS of 9/9, impacted scent glands, and an uneven wear of her teeth. Her plan at the shelter was ovariohysterectomy and then placement on the adoption floor after recovery.

Upon entering her abdomen during surgery severe hydrometra was appreciated with two intraluminal uterine masses and one transmural uterine mass. Histopathology of one of the intraluminal masses was consistent with endometrial adenocarcinoma. The patient recovered well from surgery, prognosis and potential options were discussed, and she was subsequently adopted.
