Abstract

Our film explores the origins, impact, and ongoing legacy of the Green Revolution. Through an interview with Ronnie Coffman, historical footage, and a trip to a local Ithaca corn farm, we explain how the Green Revolution saved at least a billion lives. The film also highlights both the successes and the long-term challenges that resulted from the Green Revolution. By Presenting these complexities, we aim to give viewers a balanced understanding of the Green Revolution and to spark deeper conversation about how we can sustainably feed a growing world.
