Abstract

Potato Séance includes sculptures made of steel, clay, vegetables, and other organic matter in various states of growth and decay. Given that the work I developed during my time at Cornell was about entanglement, collaboration, and cross-pollination, I felt that the form of how I wrote about my work should reflect this. As such, this document is composed of images of my sculptures, material recipes, my own lyric considerations of the sculptures, and quotations by other writers, artists, and thinkers who have shaped the work.
