Abstract
The Harvest Manager is used to administer the collections within the repository and communicates with the NSDL's ingest process to manage the automatic gathering and aggregation of OAI-PMH metadata from outside collectors. The harvested OAI records are used by the ingest process to construct metadata objects and resource representations within the repository. The open source software for the harvest service is attached to this record and available to download.
