Agriculture Project
Ithaka S+R, a not-for-profit service that helps the academic community navigate economic and technological change, in partnership with USAIN and 19 libraries in the U.S., is examining the research activities of agriculture scholars. During spring semester 2016, the participating libraries assembled research teams and conducted semi-structured interviews with faculty and visually documented faculty information practices through photography. The participating libraries will author local reports and Ithaka S+R will create a publically available final report based on aggregate analysis of the data collected from the participating institutions. This presentation by Ithaka S+R shares background information about the project’s formation, explores the project’s methodological approach and provides an update on the project’s progress to date. The presentation will conclude with a question and answer session and attendees are welcomed and encouraged to bring questions
