Abstract
We describe a mixed-methods study that analyzes WhatsApp group conversations between teachers of low-income Indian schools, group conversation administrators, and group staff members. We use exploratory data analysis and statistical analysis on our dataset of 26 group conversations. Our analysis shows how groups that employed creative engagement techniques resulted in higher engagement rates. Second, we discuss how structured conversations can lead to higher engagement rates. Finally, we detail the implications of the outside work hour engagement trends shown in our details for teachers' well-being.
