Abstract

Radiation therapy centers in developing countries are beginning to adopt 3D-CRT. Standardized instruments for assisting RT professionals as they transition from 2-D to 3D-CRT planning are lacking. Funded by a peer-reviewed departmental grant, we pilot tested a 2-week curriculum for implementing 3D-CRT for breast cancer, designed to provide the basic foundations for RT professionals. An additional aim of the project was to assess feasibility as a model for wider application in other centers.
