Many of you may already know that I have accepted the position of Vice-President for Campus Affairs here at Cornell and will shortly be leaving as Executive Director of the Chemistry Department. While I am very sorry to be leaving the Department, I am leaving it in good hands and in good shape. I am very enthusiastic about my successor Dr. Harold C. Mattraw.
