Abstract

The Southeast Asia Program Bulletin is a bi-annual publication covering Cornell faculty and student research, SEAP outreach activities, as well as SEAP news and updates.

Description
Some of the fascinating essays in this issue include discussions of the performing arts and intersections with Asian American studies by SEAP graduate student Brian V. Sengdala; musings on the GETSEA mini-course "Theorizing the Southeast Asian Archive" by SEAP graduate student Emi Donald; a thoughtful commentary by SEAP graduate student Evelyn Fettes on studying Jinghpaw in a linguistic field methods class; and reflections on musical Southeast Asian studies from the 2022 Graduate Student Conference keynote given by SEAP faculty Christopher J. Miller.
