Abstract

Memorial Statement for Professor Earl Sunderville, D.V.M. (1886-1958) who was Assistant Professor (1914), Professor (1934) and Head of the Department of Anatomy at the New York State Veterinary College. Highly regarded by his students, "Dr. Sunderville will be remembered most vividly for his close attention to anatomical detail in the dissecting room, where he served not only as a most precise instructor but also as a strict disciplinarian." The memorial statements contained herein were prepared by the Office of the Dean of the University Faculty of Cornell University to honor its faculty for their service to the university.
