Publications and data from the USDA Economics, Statistics, and Market Information System Inventory
Abstract
Inventory of the files that make up the USDA Economics, Statistics, and Market Information System (ESMIS) Archive collection, a USDA archive previously hosted by Cornell University Library. The inventory can be used to help navigate the zipped files of the ESMIS collection in eCommons.
Description
The thousands of files that make up ESMIS, through the year 2025, have been packaged at random into ~14GB zip files. To find reports and data of interest, please navigate to the Internet Archive link in the "related to" field, and use the archived website's browse and search features. Most content should be available for direct download through the Internet Archive. To navigate the zipped files in eCommons, locate the material of interest from the Internet Archive, and copy the file name from the url (it presents after the "files/" or "release-files/"). Once file of interest is found, search the file inventory index (link provided in the "related publication" field) for the file name.
