First volume of the final report of W. F. Badè's excavations at Tell en-Nasbeh between 1926 and 1935. Topics covered include: history of the excavation, possible site identifications, biblical and other textural material related to Mizpah of Benjamin, tombs, inscribed materials, Greek pottery, site stratigraphy, fortifications buildings, cult and artifacts of daily life. Many plates of photos and drawings of architectural remains and artifacts.
