Crosswalk Clarity Community Corner
Abstract
What is considered a crosswalk? A crosswalk is any part of the road set aside for pedestrians, typically marked with lines or other pavement markings. A crosswalk is located perpendicular to the roadway at intersections, whether there is a curb or not. In New York State, markings are not always present for a crossing at an intersection.
