2009 CVM News: SUNY Chancellor's award recognized two vet students

This news item is about: On April 7, 2009, two students from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine were recognized for their academic excellence. Michele Barrett and Tamika Lewis (pictured at right, respectively) received the 2009 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence. The award is given to fourth year students who have demonstrated exceptional merit not only in the classroom, but who have also excelled in other areas of their lives, including leadership, community service, and career achievement. SUNY Vice Chancellor, John J. O’Connor bestowed this honor upon 238 SUNY college students across the state.
