Abstract

Information on farm receipts, farm expenses, net farm incomes, and related items for New York and the United States have been assembled in this publication. All the basic statistics presented here are from Economic Research Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture reports, “Farm Income Situation,” FIS-216, July 1970, and "Farm Income--State Estimates 1949-1969," FIS-216 Supplement, August 1970. This publication has been prepared for the use of Extension workers, teachers of agriculture, agribusinessmen, and other professional persons concerned with New York agriculture. It is designed to be used as a reference in preparing talks, news articles, or other agricultural articles.
