Abstract

Does government understand the value of public data? Does government have the capacity for data-driven innovation?

With the Government Shutdown of 2013 over, public data advocates can return to educating lawmakers on the importance of their work.

In advance of Data Innovation Day 2014, this special edition webinar will provide an overview of the major policy issues at both the state and national levels affecting public data collection and use. Discussion will also examine a selection of innovative data sets and how advocates can get from data to insight to action.
