Abstract

Luke, an eight-year-old, male castrated Golden Retriever presented to Cornell's Emergency Service with the chief complaint of sudden onset hindlimb weakness. His owner found him trembling and unable to stand in the hind end followed by seizure activity. The owner noted a similar episode two weeks earlier, which had spontaneously resolved. Luke was otherwise healthy with no previous medical history.
