This case report describes a case of immune mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA) in a mixed breed dog, presumptively secondary to the use of a penicillin antibiotic. The differential diagnosis, treatment protocol, prognosis and pathogenesis of drug induced IMHA are discussed.
