Abstract

Summary and Conclusions Europe 2020 is a new strategy for the EU which aims among others to deliver high levels of employment and strengthen social cohesion. Monitoring achievements through statistics is integral part of the Europe 2020 strategy. Also, the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities refers in its Article 31 to statistics and data collection. In the following, we present the relevant indicators based on EU-SILC 2011. The data cover EU 28 except Ireland.
