Abstract
[Excerpt] Employee value propositions (EVPs) reflect the putative appeal of the financial and non-financial rewards employers offer to current and prospective employees. Research shows that carefully crafted EVPs play an important role in attracting and retaining top talent. This study focuses on one component of EVPs: employee benefits. Using data from 16 major CAHRS partner firms in 14 different industries, it explores the tactics used by large organizations to reinforce and refresh the perceived value of employee benefits.
